Update February 2026. Fraud warning
We are aware of a small number of incidents where businesses have been contacted by individuals falsely claiming to be employees of Thincats and purporting to offer lending on behalf of Thincats. Thincats does not make “cold calls” to offer funding. Thincats does not ask any prospective customer to pay any upfront fees or enter into contracts with third parties.
All Thincats staff have an email address ending in the domain "@thincats.com". Any email received from a different domain which purports to be sent by a Thincats employee is not genuine. If you are in doubt as to whether the person contacting you is genuinely from Thincats you should cease contact and check with us via the Enquiry Form on our website.
If the matter is fraudulent you can make a report to the police via the Report Fraud website (https://www.reportfraud.police.uk/) or by calling 0300 123 2040.
Fraud prevention is a shared responsibility, and by staying vigilant, we can work together to protect your finances and security.
