ThinCats York Networking Tour
It was fantastic hosting professionals from the business finance community across Yorkshire at our networking tour in York on the 28th April.
The turnout was excellent and we greatly appreciate all those who joined us to discuss funding across the region, whilst taking in some of the most interesting eateries in York!
Starting out at the Chopping Block - an Anglo-French restaurant set above a traditional Ale House in a 17th Century Grade ll Listed building - we were given a brief history of the venue and even regaled with some ghost stories…all whilst enjoying drinks and cassoulet!
With York’s long tradition for chocolate - once known as Chocolate City - it was only right to head to Cocoa Works, where we experienced a full bean to bar manufactory journey with single origin chocolate tastings.
Pairings Wine Bar then provided the perfect setting for Ben Kimball and the Yorkshire team to update guests on activity and how we are helping mid-sized businesses thrive across the region.
Finally, Brew York proved a fantastic venue to conclude the tour, the craft beer tasting went down very well , we particularly liked “calmer chameleon” which accompanied the Asian inspired Yuzu street food perfectly!
