ThinCats named Alternative Finance Provider of the year for South West
With the return of live events following the lifting of pandemic restrictions in the summer, ThinCats was delighted to be named Alternative Finance Provider of the year at the Insider South West Dealmakers awards 2021 held in September.
Not only we were flattered to be recognised for our support of mid-sized SMEs in the region, it was great to be able to reconnect with the South West corporate finance community in person.
Mid-sized SMEs will play a critical role in delivering the UK’s post-pandemic economic growth and we look forward to supporting many more businesses across the South West and the rest of the UK.
Some of the businesses that we have funded in the region:
Avatara
Avatara had the opportunity to acquire a local care home that had previously closed down, to be re-opened as Casterbridge Lodge. We have supported Avatara Inc Ltd, owners of care home Casterbridge Manor, with a £1.5m refinance and acquisition funding package.
