Godfrey Care funding
Funding story
We are delighted to have supported specialist residential care provider, Godfrey Care, with a significant growth funding package as the group continues to open new sites across the UK. Since being established in 2016, they have grown to 13 sites, every home to specialist care teams of fully trained staff that work with each individual using a person-centred planning approach.
Following growth funding from ThinCats, the group has recently announced the procurement of a new service, Pottery House in Stoke on Trent. It will be a CQC registered Residential Service for six individuals who have profound and severe needs and risks in relation to challenging behaviours. These often relate to their Learning Disability, Autism Spectrum Condition, and high-intensity behaviours.
Our aim is to provide high quality care in a home from home environment, offering each individual a personalised service to maximise their independence, opportunities and quality of life. Richard and his team at ThinCats have been extremely supportive, understanding our vision for the future as we aim to continue expansion across more Local Authorities and enhancing our service offering even further.Hayder Atia, Director, Godfrey Care
Richard Henshaw, Director National Development, Healthcare at ThinCats, said: “The team at Godfrey Care have an incredible combined catalogue of experience and demonstrated expertise across the board. It was fantastic working with Hayder and Andy who have an amazing vision for the business and we look forward to continue supporting their ambitious plans.”
