ThinCats provides £1.5m acquisition funding for telecom solutions specialist
We were able to support Global 4 Communications Limited with £1.5m acquisition funding.
Horsham-based Global 4 Communications provides innovative B2B and B2C telecoms solutions, serving businesses from SMEs to some of the largest market leading companies throughout the UK, supplying and installing telephone and broadband systems to private customers and across a broad range of sectors including estate agents, pharmacies, schools, dentists, retailers, petrol stations and charities.
Established in 1998 by CEO Nigel Barnett, the company has a number of brands, including Global 4 Communications working with businesses to provide solutions that help to reduce costs, improve work-flow and increase sales performance; Home Telecom, a specialist B2C broadband provider; and Fleur Telecom, a domestic broadband provider.
Seeking funding to support the acquisition of the customer base of Eclipse Broadband, a residential telecommunications provider based in East Yorkshire, the company was introduced to ThinCats by James Caplan at Knight Corporate Finance, technology specialist advisory firm.
The opportunity to acquire the client base from Eclipse supports our strategy to grow our retail client base and is our third acquisition in 18 months, which puts us in a great position to offer an even more comprehensive service to more clients. We appreciate the efforts of both the teams at ThinCats and Knight CF, enabling us to complete the acquisition in a timely manner
