Compass CHC funding
We are delighted to have provided funding to support Omni Partners in its majority investment in Compass Continuing Healthcare (“Compass CHC”), a leading provider of expert services to help claimants navigate the complex NHS continuing healthcare (“CHC”) funding process.
Founded in 2014, Compass CHC assists people with long-term health needs secure CHC funding for care outside of hospital settings. With the delivery of social good at its core, Compass CHC has established itself as a clear leader in a niche market with clear long-term demographic demand. Highly specialised and leveraging a team of more than 70 mission-led staff, including CHC specialist lawyers, paralegals, clinicians and healthcare experts, the company guides claimants through CHC eligibility assessments, appeals and retrospective claims, ensuring access to essential funding for vulnerable patients with primary health needs.
In addition to demonstrating measurable positive social impact by improving its clients’ access to funding for vital care out of hospital settings, Compass CHC has delivered exceptional growth through steadily rising case volumes over the past four years, evidencing the need for the valuable services it provides.
ThinCats supported with funding for the transaction, which will see Omni work closely alongside Compass CHC to implement several key value-creation levers to create a more sustainable and robust business able to assist an ever-growing number of eligible claimants access CHC funding.
Compass CHC will continue its operations under its current management team, with plans to enhance its service offerings and explore new growth opportunities.
