ThinCats in the South West and South Wales – Showcasing alternative finance at Bristol’s unique Planetarium
The ThinCats team headed down to the incredible Bristol Planetarium, for a night of networking with local finance professionals, and the opportunity to present ThinCats’ plans and aspirations against the backdrop of the awe-inspiring summer night sky.
We the Curious, set in Millennium Square in Bristol’s Harbourside, boasts the UK’s only 3D Planetarium, with 360° digital 3D, 4K Ultra High Definition and incredible 7.1 surround sound, all of which was complimented by an enthusiastic and mind boggling live presentation showcasing some of the largest and most far flung objects in our galaxy.
Alison Whistance, Regional Business Origination Director, Damon Walford, CDO, John Mould, CEO and Ravi Anand, MD, also took centre stage in the dome. They introduced the finance specialists of the South West and South Wales to ThinCats’ latest developments and future plans for providing funding for even more SMEs to fulfil their ambitions.
Damon Walford, CDO said: “The Planetarium is an extraordinary venue, offering inspiration and illumination with the use of ground breaking technology and passion. It fits well with our dedication to challenging the standard traditions in the world of finance; stripping away the unnecessary extras, and providing a pioneering service and clear, direct route to funding for ambitious SMEs.”
